Southern Museum of Flight

Southern Museum of Flight is a City of Birmingham public aviation museum near Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport and one of the Southeast’s largest flight museums. Its public experience includes more than 100 aircraft plus engines, models, artifacts, photographs and paintings; the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame; Memorial Airpark; Tuskegee Airmen, Korean War, Vietnam and early-aviation exhibits; guided or self-guided tours; hands-on activities; and a Flight Simulator Lab. Official visitor guidance lists Tuesday–Saturday 09:00–16:00, closed Sunday, Monday and published holidays. Current general admission is $10 for adults, $8 for children, $5 for active military and families, and free for children age 3 and under; group tours, school activities and simulator programmes have separate schedules and pricing.
