Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Space Force Base is SpaceX’s operational West Coast Falcon 9 launch site for high-inclination and polar missions, including Starlink, national-security, Earth-observation and selected lunar trajectories. Adjacent SLC-4 West serves as a Falcon 9 booster landing zone; the FAA authorizes Falcon 9 launches from SLC-4E to low Earth orbit under license LLO 18-111.
