Sri Lanka’s only national museum dedicated to aviation and the history of the Sri Lanka Air Force, located within Ratmalana Air Force Base, preserves the country’s aerial heritage from the service’s 1951 beginnings. The official museum portal presents more than 40 aircraft across multiple hangars, together with helicopters, vehicles, aircraft engines, preserved artefacts and a command research reference library.
