Stockholm Teleport

Stockholm Teleport is SSC Space’s operational satellite teleport and communications facility in Ågesta, about 15 km south of Stockholm, Sweden. SSC describes GEO-satellite teleport services in Ku-band, with visibility to non-inclined geostationary positions approximately from 45° East to 30° West, several receive antennas covering 10.7–12.75 GHz, and transmit capability in 12.8–14.5 GHz or 17.3–18.4 GHz. The station provides satellite IP connectivity such as VSAT, media connectivity and hosting, with engineering for geostationary satellite operations and a 24/7/365 network-operations centre in Kiruna; SSC also documents redundant UPS and diesel generation. This is controlled commercial communications infrastructure rather than a public visitor attraction: arrange access with SSC and verify current local permissions before field planning.
