Suvarnabhumi Airport
Suvarnabhumi is an international airport 25 km east of Bangkok, in Samut Prakan. CAAT identifies Airports of Thailand as its operator and publishes three runway alignments, passenger and cargo handling infrastructure, and instrument arrival and departure procedures. Its parallel-runway layout and extensive taxiway network provide a useful example for studying the separation of runway, apron and terminal operations at a large civil aviation hub.
