Swiss Museum of Transport – Aviation and Space is the Lucerne museum’s dedicated hall for aviation and space travel. Historic aircraft, helicopters and drones include the Dufaux 4 and original Swissair CV-990 Coronado and DC-3 aircraft; the space exhibition presents rockets, astronaut technology, a Mars landscape and original rovers. Around 300 original exhibits and flight simulators connect Swiss aviation history with spaceflight and transport technology. The parent museum lists exhibition-hall hours of 10:00–18:00 during summer (March 29–October 24, 2026) and 10:00–17:00 during winter. The SIM World area is currently closed during basement renovation, while the Rega simulator has moved to the hall’s ground floor. Check the operator for current tickets, exhibitions, simulator availability and accessibility.
