Tennessee Museum of Aviation

Tennessee Museum of Aviation at Gatlinburg–Pigeon Forge Airport (GKT) in Sevierville is Tennessee’s official repository and archive of aviation history. Its exhibit gallery presents aircraft, engines, military artifacts, uniforms, models and aviation timelines, while the heated 35,000-square-foot hangar hosts historic aircraft and living-museum displays including engines, cockpits, military vehicles and restored vintage warbirds. Current public hours are Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–18:00 from March 1 through November 30 and Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–17:00 from December 1 through February 28; it is closed Sundays and Mondays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, and closes at 15:00 on Christmas Eve. Last admission is sold 45 minutes before closing. Admission is $18 general, $15 for seniors 60+, $12 for children ages 6–12, free for children under 6, and $13 for current or former U.S. military with identification; Sevier County residents receive a special rate with photo ID.
