Texas Air Museum – Slaton (the Caprock Chapter) is a volunteer-owned and operated museum preserving military aviation through restoration, flight and close-up visitor interpretation at the north end of Slaton Municipal Airport. Its displays span F-14A Tomcat, A-7B Corsair II, F-105D, F-4S, T-2C, T-33A, H-55, WWII-era and civilian aircraft, artifacts, models, engines, weapons and a 75mm Japanese field gun; some historic aircraft remain airworthy.
