Thai National Radio Astronomy Observatory

Thai National Radio Astronomy Observatory (TNRO) is NARIT's operational radio-astronomy and geodesy campus at the Huai Hong Krai Royal Development Study Center in Doi Saket District, Chiang Mai. It hosts the 40-m Thai National Radio Telescope, which observes across radio frequencies up to 115 GHz, and a 13-m VGOS station used for geodesy, Earth-orientation and tectonic-plate research through Very Long Baseline Interferometry. NARIT's current operator pages publish science operations and telescope-user information but no current routine walk-in visitor schedule; contact NARIT before travel and do not assume entry to the research site.
