The Museum of Flight

The Museum of Flight at Boeing Field in Seattle is a major aviation and space museum presenting historic aircraft and spacecraft through the Great Gallery, Personal Courage Wing, Simonyi Space Gallery, Aviation Pavilion, interactive galleries, tours, simulators and flightline programmes. Its visitor experience includes a full-size Space Shuttle Trainer, Boeing and military aircraft, family exploration and aerospace education. The separate Restoration Center and Reserve Collection at Paine Field supports volunteer aircraft conservation and additional collection access. The operator currently lists daily hours of 10:00–17:00 and closure on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. General admission is $29 for adults age 18 and over, $25 for seniors age 65 and over, $21 for youth ages 5–17, free for children age 4 and under and members; admission is free from 17:00–21:00 on the first Thursday of each month. A receipt-based return visit within seven days is discounted to $12 adult, $10 senior or $10 youth. Caregivers accompanying visitors with disabilities enter free, and complimentary luggage storage is available first-come, first-served. Groups of 10 or more can arrange group visits. Free parking is available. The museum is fully ADA compliant with wheelchair-accessible galleries and restrooms, accessible parking at East and West campuses, courtesy wheelchairs, sensory resources and tactile tours; service animals are welcome, while pets and emotional-support animals are not allowed. By bus, METRO Route 124 from Downtown Seattle or Tukwila Station stops directly in front of the museum; by car, take Interstate 5 Exit 158 and turn onto East Marginal Way South. Six public EV charging stations are available first-come, first-served at $0.29 per kilowatt-hour with a three-hour limit. Wings Café is open 10:00–17:00, and outdoor picnic tables are available; confirm current event, parking and programme arrangements before travel.
