Tierra del Fuego Ground Station

CONAE’s Tierra del Fuego Ground Station is an operational satellite ground station near Tolhuin at kilometre 5.5 of Provincial Route 23. Its two antenna systems include 13.5 m and 7.3 m reflectors and support S-band telemetry, tracking and command (TT&C) plus X- and Ka-band Earth-observation data reception for national and international users. CONAE describes it as the southernmost station on the continent in its network with TT&C and data-downlink capability. The station is remotely operated and completely automated, with maintenance and guard support handled by the ground-segment service; contact CONAE before travel and do not assume walk-in access to the controlled site.
