Tocumwal Aviation Museum at the historic Tocumwal Aerodrome preserves a significant chapter of Australian civil and military aviation, from the first reported flight at Tocumwal in 1919 through the WWII US and Royal Australian Air Force base and the aerodrome’s continuing flying heritage. Its public experience combines an exhibition gallery of wartime imagery, stories, artefacts and memorabilia with a display hangar of rotating historic aircraft, a quarter-scale B-24 Liberator model, historic films and a Memorial Hall for the service personnel who died at Tocumwal.
