Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site

Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site preserves Moton Field, where America's first African American military pilots and their support crews trained during the Second World War. Restored Hangars 1 and 2 combine original structures, period rooms, oral histories, flight simulators, and training aircraft to interpret both the demands of military aviation and the Airmen's enduring civil-rights legacy.
