U-Tapao Rayong–Pattaya International Airport

U-Tapao Rayong–Pattaya International Airport is a joint civil and military airport in Ban Chang, about 34 km west of Rayong. CAAT identifies the Royal Thai Navy as operator and separately lists military base operations and the civil airport authority. Its 3,505 m runway 18/36, instrument procedures and civil passenger facilities make it useful for studying how civil traffic and military aviation share aerodrome infrastructure. Civil terminal access does not imply access to naval or other controlled airside areas. See [CAAT aerodrome information](https://aip.caat.or.th/2026-10-01-AIRAC/html/eAIP/VT-AD-2.VTBU-en-GB.html) for published technical details.
