U.S. Army Aviation Museum

The U.S. Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker, Alabama preserves more than 160 military aircraft, including one of the world’s largest military-helicopter collections; about 50 restored aircraft are displayed inside 70,000 square feet of galleries and on the grounds. Exhibits trace Army aviation from the Wright military flyer and World War I through modern AH-64 Apache and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, with artifacts and human stories.
