U.S. Space & Rocket Center

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville is a Smithsonian Affiliate and the Official Visitor Center for NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. Its collection of more than 1,500 spaceflight items includes a National Historic Landmark Saturn V, Pathfinder full-stack shuttle display, Apollo 16 Command Module, Skylab Orbital Workshop and Apollo 12 Moon Rock. Visitors can explore Saturn V Hall, Moon Crater, Military/Rocket/Shuttle Parks, ISS: Science on Orbit, Spark!Lab, astronaut-training simulators and the INTUITIVE Planetarium; Space Camp extends the hands-on education mission. General admission covers the core museum exhibits, while featured attractions and outdoor simulators vary with schedule, staffing and weather.
