Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition (VSSE) is Space Applications Centre's co-located space-education venue in Ahmedabad, operated by ISRO in the hometown of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. Working models, live panels, static displays, interactive multimedia, augmented-reality experiences and a 3D theatre explain satellite communications, Earth observation, launch vehicles and space applications. ISRO's visitor directory labels VSSE open for the public but asks visitors to contact officials before visiting. SAC's current rules require advance group planning by a government-recognised school, college or institute; student groups only, maximum 120 people including teachers/professors, institutional ID and CISF checks, and at least two authorised accompanying staff. Visits are free; last entry is 16:45 and closing is 17:30. The exhibition is closed on Mondays, government holidays and 13:00-13:30, and photography/videography is allowed only outside the building.
