von Karman Visitor Center

JPL’s von Kármán Visitor Center is the public visitor museum and tour stop at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena. Permanent exhibits interpret JPL history and planetary missions with full-scale Voyager, Galileo and Mars Exploration Rover spacecraft models. JPL’s current free public-tour program offers limited onsite and virtual experiences by advance reservation; onsite Visitor Day Tours are for groups of 1–10 and Public Group Tours for 20–40, with reservations released one month at a time at least three weeks ahead. An onsite tour may include the von Kármán Visitor Center, Space Flight Operations Facility and Spacecraft Assembly Facility, but it does not provide walk-in access and tours are not conducted on weekends or holidays. Adults must bring government-issued photo ID: U.S. citizens need REAL ID or passport, and non-U.S. citizens need a passport or resident visa; confirm current availability, roster, accessibility and security requirements before travel.
