NASA's Wallops Visitor Center is the public-facing destination for Wallops Flight Facility on Virginia's Eastern Shore. Its free visitor contract includes hands-on exhibits and films about Earth and space science, sounding rockets, aircraft and scientific balloons, Science On a Sphere, public programs, qualifying group facility tours, and a launch-viewing area about seven miles from the range. NASA currently publishes public hours Thursday-Saturday 10:00-15:00, school/group programs Tuesday-Wednesday, a Route 175 / Building J-20 address, federal-holiday and operations caveats, and launch-day schedule changes.
