Wallops Visitor Center

NASA’s Wallops Visitor Center is the only part of Wallops Flight Facility open to the public and the public gateway to its Eastern Shore science and launch work. Current NASA guidance lists free public hours Thursday–Saturday, 10:00–15:00, with Tuesday–Wednesday school/group programs by reservation; federal holidays, launches and other operations can change access. Exhibits cover sounding rockets, Earth and space science, scientific balloons and aircraft, while qualifying pre-registered groups may request facility tours. The separate launch-viewing area is about seven miles from the launch range; parking fills early and launch timing and traffic can change.
