Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM)

The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum (WAAAM) is a living museum at Hood River Airport dedicated to preserving, operating and teaching with antique aircraft, automobiles and transportation relics. Its 3.5-acre hangar houses one of the country’s largest collections of still-flying antique aeroplanes and still-driving automobiles, including the 1917 Curtiss JN-4D Jenny with its OX-5 engine, Piper Cub and WACO collections, Aeroncas, Stearmans and many other historic machines. Demonstration flights and special operating events connect the collection to working aviation; current opening, flight and admission arrangements are operator-controlled, so confirm before travel.
