Western New Mexico Aviation Heritage Museum

Western New Mexico Aviation Heritage Museum, presented on the current operator site as Western NM Airways Heritage Museum, preserves the story of early air travel and navigation along the 1929 Los Angeles-Amarillo airway. Exhibits interpret the Grants-Milan Flight Service Station, restored aviation buildings, relics and the original airway-beacon route. Regular public hours are Saturdays 09:00-13:00; the museum is closed on major holidays. Admission is free, with donations appreciated. Visits outside Saturday hours are available by appointment, and large groups should contact the volunteers in advance.
