White Sands Missile Range Museum is the U.S. Army's public museum of the missile range's rocket, missile and test history in southern New Mexico. Its visitor experience combines indoor exhibits with the outdoor Missile Park, interpreting the Army's role in missile and rocket development, DoD test activities and the space-age transition. The current museum contract is controlled-access rather than walk-in: regular hours are Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-16:00, the museum is closed Sunday, Monday and federal holidays, visitors must follow White Sands Missile Range entry and pre-registration rules, and the Missile Park is open dawn-to-dusk but can close for weather or range safety.
