Wight Aviation Museum is a volunteer-run public museum in Hangar 2 at Sandown Airport, preserving the Isle of Wight’s aviation and aerospace heritage. Displays include the full-size Black Arrow rocket replica, Princess Flying Boat and island aerospace stories, alongside the Skeeter helicopter, Islander, Britten-Norman CC7 Cushioncraft and other aircraft, artefacts and memorabilia. The museum’s charity mission is to preserve historic aircraft and educate the public; the Isle of Wight visitor authority records ramp/level access, wheelchair access and disabled parking. Seasonal opening, volunteer availability and special display access can change, so check the operator notice before travel. Visitor address: Scotchells Brook Lane, Lake, Sandown, Isle of Wight PO36 0JP, United Kingdom.
