Wings of History Aircraft Museum

Wings of History Aircraft Museum is a nonprofit San Martin Airport collection dedicated to aviation history through education, preservation, restoration and flight. Exhibits span historic aircraft, aircraft engines, large model collections, WWI and WWII material, the 449th Bomb Group, Women in Aviation, early aviation and flying boats. Visitors can see a full-scale non-flying Wright Flyer replica, gliders, the Vickers Viscount, Hiller UH-12E4 helicopter, Kittyhawk Heaviside H2 eVTOL and many period engines; a flight simulator, library, restoration shop and propeller shop extend the hands-on mission. Public access is limited to operator-published open days and events, so confirm the current calendar, donation terms and any aircraft or restoration changes before travel.
