Wings of Liberation Museum

Wings of Liberation Museum (Museum Bevrijdende Vleugels) in Best preserves the aviation and airborne story of the liberation of the southern Netherlands, on the ground where the 17 September 1944 Operation Market Garden airborne assault began. Its collection includes dioramas, photographs, aircraft and weaponry used in the operation, with interpretation spanning occupation and resistance from 1940 through liberation in late 1944.
