Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum

Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum occupies historic Hangar 1 at the former Lowry Air Force Base and presents more than 100,000 square feet of aviation and space history. Visitors can explore 60-plus aircraft, space artifacts and interactive exhibits, take the controls in immersive flight simulators, and join guided or self-guided hangar tours and aerospace education programs. The Denver Air & Space Museum is generally open Monday–Saturday 10:00–17:00 and Sunday 12:00–17:00; check the official calendar because hours and closures can change. Admission is ticketed, free parking is available but may fill, and active-duty military and veterans may receive operator discounts with military ID. The separate Exploration of Flight campus at Centennial Airport has different hours and admission; same-day reentry applies only to the same campus, and group discounts or tours may be available.
