Artemis IV
Artemis IV is NASA’s planned early-2028 crewed lunar South Pole landing mission. Four astronauts are intended to launch in Orion on the Space Launch System from Kennedy Space Center; in lunar orbit, two crew members will transfer to a human landing system and spend approximately one week on the surface collecting samples, deploying experiments, and observing the lunar environment before rejoining Orion for return to Earth.
