Axiom Mission 3 was a commercial astronaut mission to the International Space Station and Axiom Space's first all-European commercial astronaut mission. Crew Dragon Freedom launched from Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A on January 18, 2024 with Michael Lopez-Alegria commanding, Walter Villadei as pilot, and Alper Gezeravci and Marcus Wandt as mission specialists. The mission supported national, ESA, educational, and commercial research while demonstrating a path for countries and agencies to fly astronauts through a commercial ISS mission model.
