Chang’e 7 is a planned Phase IV mission of the Chinese Lunar Exploration Program to investigate the lunar south-polar environment and resources using an orbiter, lander, rover, and hopping probe. Long March 5 Y14, the mission’s assigned flight vehicle, arrived at the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site on July 13, 2026 for assembly and testing. CNSA currently states launch in the second half of 2026 rather than an exact date.
