Chang'e 8
Chang'e 8 is a planned Chinese Lunar Exploration Program mission targeting launch around 2029. Its lander, rover, and operations robot will explore the Leibnitz-Beta Plateau near the lunar south pole, carry out scientific investigations and in-situ resource-utilization demonstrations, and work with the earlier Chang'e 7 mission to lay groundwork for the International Lunar Research Station. CNSA selected ten international cooperation projects representing 11 countries and regions and one international organization. The launch vehicle, pad, and exact date remain unannounced.
