Expedition 10 was a two-person long-duration mission aboard the International Space Station. Leroy Chiao and Salizhan Sharipov launched on Soyuz TMA-5 from Baikonur on October 14, 2004, docked with the ISS two days later, and took over station operations from Expedition 9. During the expedition they maintained station systems, supported research, handled Progress cargo traffic, and conducted external work on the station's systems and experiments. The crew undocked and landed aboard Soyuz TMA-5 on April 24, 2005 UTC after 192 days in orbit.
