Expedition 74 is the active International Space Station increment that began when Soyuz MS-27 departed on December 8, 2025 EST (December 9 UTC). Crew-11 and Soyuz MS-28 formed the opening seven-person complement. Crew-11's medically prompted early return left the three MS-28 residents aboard until Crew-12 restored the station to seven in February. The increment has supported station science, visiting vehicles, robotics work, and three spacewalks. Soyuz MS-29 arrived on July 14 with Pyotr Dubrov, Anna Kikina, and Anil Menon, creating a ten-person handover before the scheduled MS-28 departure and Expedition 75 transition on July 26.
