Expedition 74 is the active International Space Station increment that began on December 8, 2025, after the Soyuz MS-27 departure and landing sequence closed Expedition 73. NASA lists the increment as running into July 2026. The core Soyuz MS-28 crew of Sergey Kud-Sverchkov, Sergei Mikayev, and Chris Williams was joined by SpaceX Crew-12 on February 14, 2026, bringing Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, Sophie Adenot, and Andrey Fedyaev into the seven-member Expedition 74 crew. The increment supports ISS research, station operations, visiting vehicles, robotics maintenance, and Russian- and U.S.-segment spacewalks, including the March 18 solar-array preparation EVA, the May 27 Russian science-hardware EVA, and the June 30 Canadarm2 wrist-joint repair.
