Falcon 9 Block 5 Flight 190 | HAKUTO-R Mission 1 and Lunar Flashlight

This rideshare sent ispace's first HAKUTO-R lunar lander and NASA's Lunar Flashlight CubeSat onto separate low-energy paths toward the Moon. Falcon 9 deployed both spacecraft as planned. HAKUTO-R later lost contact during its April 2023 landing attempt; Lunar Flashlight demonstrated several technologies but could not reach lunar orbit after propulsion difficulties, and NASA ended its mission in May 2023.
