JUPITER 3, also known as EchoStar XXIV, is a Hughes ultra-high-density Ka-band communications satellite built to add more than 500 Gbps of capacity across North and South America. Falcon Heavy placed the Maxar-built spacecraft into geosynchronous transfer orbit; it subsequently reached the 95° west orbital slot, completed in-orbit testing, and entered commercial service on December 19, 2023.
