ISS EP-1 was the first short-duration Soyuz taxi visit to the International Space Station. Yuri Baturin launched on Soyuz TM-32 from Baikonur Site 1/5 on April 28, 2001, with commander Talgat Musabayev and spaceflight participant Dennis Tito. The spacecraft docked with the ISS on April 30, exchanged the station lifeboat spacecraft, and the visiting crew returned on Soyuz TM-31 on May 6.
