JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer)
Juice is ESA's first Large-class Cosmic Vision mission, an active exploration of Jupiter and the ocean-bearing moons Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. The Airbus-built spacecraft is using a lunar-Earth flyby, a Venus flyby, and two further Earth flybys to reach Jupiter in July 2031, after which it is planned to conduct 35 Jovian-moon flybys and become the first spacecraft to orbit a moon of another planet.

- Active and successful to date. Juice launched precisely on Ariane 5 ECA VA260, completed spacecraft deployment and commissioning, executed the world's first lunar-Earth double gravity assist in August 2024, and successfully flew by Venus in August 2025. It is now cruising toward its planned September 2026 Earth flyby and July 2031 Jupiter arrival.
