Missão Centenário was the Brazilian Space Agency mission that made Marcos Pontes the first Brazilian in space. Pontes launched aboard Soyuz TMA-8 with the Expedition 13 crew, performed eight Brazilian microgravity experiments and outreach activities aboard the International Space Station, and returned with the Expedition 12 crew aboard Soyuz TMA-7. The mission name commemorated the centenary of Alberto Santos-Dumont's 14-bis flight.
