Shenzhou 10 was China's fifth crewed spaceflight and the second crewed visit to the Tiangong-1 experimental space laboratory. The spacecraft launched from Jiuquan on June 11, 2013 with commander Nie Haisheng, operator Zhang Xiaoguang, and experimenter Wang Yaping, then docked with Tiangong-1 on June 13. CMSA described the mission as a way to further verify Shenzhou transportation, rendezvous and docking, Tiangong-1 crew support, astronaut work capability, space-environment adaptation, science experiments, and on-orbit maintenance. During the flight, Wang delivered China's first live space lesson from orbit with support from Nie and Zhang, demonstrating physics in microgravity to students on Earth. The crew also performed manual undocking and redocking with Tiangong-1 and completed a near-distance fly-around rendezvous test. Shenzhou 10 landed on June 26, 2013, with CMSA reporting that the crew lived and worked well in orbit.
