Shenzhou 3
Shenzhou 3 was China’s third unmanned flight test under the China Manned Space Program. Launched on March 25, 2002 aboard the improved Long March 2F from Jiuquan, it validated spacecraft systems, escape and emergency-rescue functions, tracking and control, reentry, and space-science and environment-monitoring tasks before crewed flight.
