Soyuz MS-06 was a Roscosmos crew transport mission to the International Space Station for the Expedition 53 and 54 period. The spacecraft launched from Baikonur Site 1/5 on September 12, 2017 UTC with commander Aleksandr Misurkin and NASA flight engineers Mark Vande Hei and Joseph Acaba. After a same-day rendezvous profile by UTC date, the crew docked with the station on September 13 and joined Expedition 53. Misurkin, Vande Hei, and Acaba continued aboard through Expedition 54, then undocked and landed near Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan, on February 28, 2018 after about 168 days in space.
