Soyuz MS-07 launched from Baikonur Site 1/5 on December 17, 2017 UTC with Roscosmos commander Anton Shkaplerov, NASA flight engineer Scott Tingle, and JAXA flight engineer Norishige Kanai. After a two-day rendezvous, the spacecraft docked with the International Space Station on December 19, adding the crew to Expedition 54 and later Expedition 55. The same three crewmembers returned aboard Soyuz MS-07 on June 3, 2018, landing in Kazakhstan after about 168 days in space.
