Soyuz MS-20 launched from Baikonur Site 31/6 on December 8, 2021 UTC with Roscosmos commander Aleksandr Misurkin and Space Adventures participants Yusaku Maezawa and Yozo Hirano. The spacecraft docked with the International Space Station later the same day, beginning an approximately 12-day private visit to the orbital laboratory. Misurkin, Maezawa, and Hirano returned aboard Soyuz MS-20 on December 20, 2021, landing in Kazakhstan after 11 days, 19 hours, and 34 minutes in space.
