Soyuz T-10

Soyuz T-10 launched Leonid Kizim, Vladimir Solovyov, and Oleg Atkov from Baikonur Site 31/6 on February 8, 1984 and docked with Salyut 7 the next day. The spacecraft delivered the crew that carried out a long-duration Salyut 7 expedition focused on medical research, station maintenance, and major EVA work on the station's propulsion and power systems. As with other Salyut crew-exchange flights, the launch crew did not return in the same spacecraft. Spacefacts records that Soyuz T-10 undocked from Salyut 7 on April 11, 1984 carrying the visiting Soyuz T-11 crew: Yuri Malyshev, Gennadi Strekalov, and Rakesh Sharma. The Soyuz T-10 spacecraft landed east of Arkalyk later that day. This record therefore keeps the physical Soyuz T-10 landing date of April 11, 1984 while also documenting the Kizim-Solovyov-Atkov launch crew that it carried to Salyut 7. The companion Soyuz T-11 record carries the October 2, 1984 return of the long-duration crew.
