Soyuz TM-33
Soyuz TM-33 was the 7K-STM no. 207 spacecraft launched for the French-Russian Andromède taxi mission. Viktor Afanasyev, Konstantin Kozeyev, and Claudie Haigneré returned aboard TM-32, while TM-33 remained at the ISS as the next lifeboat and later landed the Soyuz TM-34 / Marco Polo visiting crew on May 5, 2002.

- Successful. Soyuz TM-33 delivered the Andromède crew and replaced TM-32 as the ISS emergency-return craft. The launch crew completed its research visit and returned on TM-32; TM-33 remained in orbit for 195 days and then safely returned Yuri Gidzenko, Roberto Vittori, and Mark Shuttleworth from the Marco Polo mission on May 5, 2002.
