Soyuz TMA-09M

Soyuz TMA-09M launched from Baikonur Site 1/5 on May 28, 2013 and docked with the International Space Station on May 29 after a fast rendezvous profile. The spacecraft carried Soyuz commander Fyodor Yurchikhin, ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano, and NASA astronaut Karen Nyberg to the station for Expeditions 36 and 37. The crew supported station research, visiting vehicles, maintenance, and international operations before returning to Earth aboard the same Soyuz on November 11, 2013, landing southeast of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan.
