Soyuz TMA-18 launched from Baikonur Site 1/5 on April 2, 2010 UTC and docked with the International Space Station on April 4. The spacecraft carried Roscosmos commander Aleksandr Skvortsov, Roscosmos flight engineer Mikhail Kornienko, and NASA flight engineer Tracy Caldwell Dyson to the station for Expeditions 23 and 24. During the mission, the crew supported station research, visiting-vehicle operations, Russian-segment work, U.S. segment maintenance, and expedition handover activities, with Skvortsov later commanding Expedition 24. Soyuz TMA-18 undocked on September 25, 2010 UTC after a one-day landing delay related to docking-port hooks and landed south of Arkalyk, Kazakhstan, returning the same three crew members after about 176 days in space.
