SpaceX Crew-8 was NASA's eighth Commercial Crew rotation mission to the International Space Station. Matthew Dominick commanded the flight, Michael Barratt served as pilot, and Jeanette Epps and Aleksandr Grebyonkin flew as mission specialists. The crew launched from Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A on March 3, 2024 aboard Crew Dragon Endeavour and docked with the station on March 5. The mission supported Expeditions 70, 71, and 72 with station science, maintenance, visiting-vehicle operations, and technology demonstrations during an extended stay. Crew-8 returned on October 25, 2024, splashing down in the Gulf of Mexico off Pensacola, Florida after 235 days in space.
