Spektr-RG
Spektr-RG is a Russian-German X-ray astronomy observatory launched on July 13, 2019 to survey the sky from the Sun-Earth L2 region. Its independent telescopes are the German soft-X-ray instrument eROSITA and the Russian harder-X-ray instrument ART-XC. Their observing histories differ: eROSITA entered safe mode in February 2022 while ART-XC continued scientific observations.

- Spektr-RG is a Russian-German X-ray astronomy observatory launched on July 13, 2019 to survey the sky from the Sun-Earth L2 region. - Outcome
- eROSITA completed four full sky scans and part of a fifth before entering safe mode in February 2022. ART-XC then conducted a deep Galactic-plane survey and pointed observations, resumed its all-sky survey in October 2023, and completed its eighth scan on December 28, 2025. IKI reported continued hard-X-ray observations in January 2026 after completion of the original 6.5-year programme. Completion of that programme did not end observatory operations.
