STS-109 was Space Shuttle Columbia's Hubble Space Telescope Servicing Mission 3B. The crew retrieved and redeployed Hubble with the Shuttle robotic arm, installed new solar arrays, a new Power Control Unit, the Advanced Camera for Surveys, a reaction wheel assembly, and cooling hardware for NICMOS, and completed five consecutive days of spacewalks by Grunsfeld, Linnehan, Newman, and Massimino.
