STS-111 was a Space Shuttle Endeavour mission to the International Space Station and the UF-2 assembly and logistics flight. Endeavour launched from Launch Complex 39A on June 5, 2002, with a four-person Shuttle crew and the Expedition 5 crew for handover aboard the station. The mission delivered the Leonardo logistics module and the Canadian-built Mobile Base System, transferred supplies and equipment, and helped transition the resident station crew from Expedition 4 to Expedition 5. Franklin Chang-Diaz and Philippe Perrin performed three EVAs totaling 19 hours and 31 minutes, installing station hardware and replacing a wrist roll joint on Canadarm2. Endeavour undocked on June 15 and landed at Edwards Air Force Base's Runway 22 on June 19 after Florida landing opportunities were waived because of weather.
